Managed Protection (anti-virus and patch management):
Most of the repairs of client's workstation computer are due to virus, spyware or malware. This can waste hours of time attempting to clean off infections and commonly cannot be done. To guard against this damage and the lost time it causes we form Managed Protection services which includes Ant-Virus/Malware software license and managed services to insure functionality and updates.
Keeping workstation operating systems current with patches and services packs is a key to protecting them. Microsoft and others provide patches to protect the computer against vulnerabilities that become public knowledge. If you do not patch these vulnerabilities you are at a great risk of infection and your A/V software may not be able to help. On TotalCare we submit patches to your computers and monitor to insure these are installed.
Managed Backup for workstations (RapidRecovery):
With TotalCare we also include and manage complete backup images of each computer that are kept current every night. If a workstation does become infected or otherwise dies we can easily install a new image and have your staff back at work within a couple of hours, generally less.
Monitored Performance:
With our automated system we can monitor the key components of performance and make corrections prior to a problem causing lost time to your staff. Hard disk availability, patches, A/V software and workstation backup are just some of the key items we monitor and correct.
Vendor Management:
To keep your staff focused on their jobs we will provide assistance in selecting vendors that provide things such as Internet service, domain name registrations, line of business software applications and print services. Should your staff have problems related to one of these services we will contact the company on your behalf to resolve the issue. This does not include end-user support issues on line of business applications however.
