Windows Terminal Server

Windows Terminal Services allows multiple users to connect to a Windows Server and run their own Windows session. There are several reasons why you may want to do this:
- Lower costs than buying multiple computes
- Easier to maintain and upgrade
- Works well over slower remote connections
- Can connect with old, weak client computers and terminals
While you lose some flexibility in adding new devices this option can produce significant savings in both capital outlay and maintenance costs. The processing is all done at this server and the user machines are merely remotely displaying the monitor image and passing keystrokes and mouse movements. A good server can easily support 50-100 active users.
