Parsec Online Backup

Could your business survive if you lost all your programs and data?  Do you have all the program media and license codes needed to reinstall if your computer or server was gone?

Parsec Online Backup is professionally managed backup service.  Other online backup services leave it all up to you to configure the backup and insure it really works.  With Parsec we monitor your backup with gray matter - not just software.  A real live person will be involved with your system think of all the bad things that can happen and what we will do to get your company back to work when a disaster strikes!  Waiting until this happens is too late!

Out services charges depend on the disk storage you require.  We can customize the service to meet your individual needs - do you need 12 past month-end backup setup kept?  We can do that.  Your data updates are sent to Parsec secure servers every night via the Internet.  Should you need to restore data, either you or our technicians can send a restore to your network via the Internet or, if the size is very large on some other type of media like CD, DVD or USB hard drive.

Optional services are available for disaster recovery using the online backup set:

  • Scheduled restoration to your own "Emergency Server" that Parsec hosts for you.  An image of your production server is ready to install at your office or a temporary facility in the event of a major disaster - like a fire in your office, hurricane, flood or theft.
  • Scheduled restoration to a Parsec Virtual Server session.  An image restore to a Virtual image would allow you to lease a server, with all your current data and functionality, while a new server is provisioned.

It is important that you have a realistic understanding of the potential for lost time and the costs associated.  Even with a good backup, a complete loss of you server will normally result in at least 1 -2 days of lost computer time.  What would that cost your business?  Would you even survive?
