We analyze your applications requirements, your current size and also your potential for growth in determining your needs. We also factor in technology trends to help determine timing of upgrades and expansion.
Hardware and Configuration
With a good network design in hand Parsec now finds the best equipment and the best price and with the best support. Our 25 years of experience pays off here as well, we have found that building our own computers for our clients is the best deal. You can shop around and maybe find cheaper gear but you also assume risk – risk of extended downtime and hassles of dealing with offshore technical support who call the shots on replacement. With our equipment we call the shots and your best interests are key. We stake our reputation on that!
Security
A solid installation must be designed with security in mind and this has many facets today. A secure system must have a professionally configured and maintained firewall to protect your computers from the Internet and yet allow functionality. Each server and workstation must be reliably updated with the latest security patches from Microsoft and other software vendors. Virus, spyware and spam prevention and detection is also crucial to keep data safe and computers functioning properly. Each of these requires some form of compliance monitoring to insure the system is safe. System Monitoring and Support
Once we have a system that is providing you with real business benefits we need to insure the system is always available. Parsec has developed a complete program to proactively maintain your servers, workstations and security. We do not wait for a failure to happen that requires you to call us – we actually install software that monitors your network and reports conditions to our master console and also sends alerts on critical items. Parsec then also offers a program called ServicePlus that provides a relationship for us to connect into your system remotely (or onsite in required) to correct the problems, often before you even know there is an issue.
