Parsec Online Backup Services

Online Backup services offers you many advantages and now that we are hosting these services many of the pitfalls in online backup are removed. Online backup software analyzes your hard drive files as the first step in the backup process and uploads to the Parsec Backup Servers only the files or parts of files that have changed. It would be virtually impossible to backup your entire hard drive via the Internet so we start with a "seed" backup to a removable hard drive connected to your computer and then load those files onto the backup server here. Now, we can begin the nightly updates of changed only files.

Parsec Online Backup services maintain mutliple snapshots of files allowing you to restore files to variuos points-in-time as needed. We also configure the backup system to make a local copy on your own USB hard drives that you keep in the office. There is no need to rotate these offsite however since your offsite backup is already stored on the Parsec Backup Servers.

Our system will send you a daily report of the backup status and out ServicePlus engineers also monitor the backup status each morning.
